Countdown to Ironman Hawaii

I leave for Kona on Saturday 10/8th. Friends arrive on Tuesday 10/11, Family arrives Thursday. My oldest daughter, and father-in-law arrive Saturday afternoon 10/15 (Yes, race day. My daughter is arriving later so she can cheer @ the l homecoming game on Friday night. Due to the 5 hour time difference, they should get to Kona in time to see me finish)

Don't go so fast that you don't take it all in. One game you can play is to take pictures in your mind of things you see as you go through this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
